Basilicata university students launch digital meal payment app

University students in Basilicata can now pay for Mensa Ardsu services via the new ARDSUpper mobile application. Developed by In4matic srl, the app is compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems.

The digital tool replaces traditional paper and magnetic cards with a virtual ID on smartphones. Beyond facilitating payments, the app allows students to autonomously book meals and select specific types of service at the Campus di Macchia Romana or through catering delivery points in Potenza and Matera.

To ensure a smooth transition, ARDSU is implementing a gradual rollout, maintaining traditional payment methods alongside the new digital system. The service provider, Vivenda SpA, is assisting with staff training and operational coordination to support the digitalization process.
