Basketball coaching seminar to be held in Nicosia

A high-level basketball coaching seminar will be held in Nicosia, Cyprus, on September 12, 2026, as part of the payabl. ‘Nefytos Chandriotis’ Tournament. The event is supported by the Association of Greek Basketball Coaches (S.E.P.K.) and the Cyprus Basketball Coaches Association.

The seminar features three prominent coaches: Giorgos Bartzokas, Vasilis Spanoulis, and Oded Kattash. Each will present specialized topics based on their professional experience:

• Vasilis Spanoulis will discuss Pick and Roll (PnR) tactics against various defensive coverages. • Oded Kattash will cover offensive and defensive rules during the first eight seconds of play. • Giorgos Bartzokas will demonstrate in-season practice habits, tactics, and goals.

The seminar will take place at the ‘Tasos Papadopoulos – Eleftheria’ Stadium from 09:00 to 14:30. Participation is free for coaches, and while there will be no live online broadcast, materials will be made available later via the S.E.P.K. website.
