Basketball community events held in Lucca and Rome

Various basketball-related community and charity initiatives are taking place across Italy. In Lucca, players participating in the eleventh edition of the Trofeo Lovari visited the pediatric ward at the San Luca hospital. The delegation, which included members of Valtur Brindisi, Libertas Livorno, Pistoia Basket, and Pallacanestro Montecatini, delivered gifts and signed jerseys to brighten the experience for young patients.

In Rome, the fourth edition of the Under 17 basketball tournament ‘Un canestro per te’ is being held at Pala Petriana. Organized by the Associazione Francesco Mansutti Ets and Virtus GVM Roma 1960, the event honors the memory of Francesco Mansutti. Six youth teams are competing in the two-day tournament, which aims to promote sportsmanship, responsibility, and community values through basketball.
