Sports updates: Montenegro basketball reforms and Bosnia stadium suspension

The Basketball Federation of Montenegro (KSCG) held a meeting with Youth League clubs to discuss upcoming regulatory changes. Key adjustments for the 2026/27 season include modifying player rotation rules for the Pioneer and Younger Pioneer categories to increase game rhythm, adjusting roster minimums from 12 to 10 players for specific matches, and revising technical foul penalties for Junior and Cadet categories. Additionally, KSCG plans to conduct an expert assessment of all sports halls in Montenegro over the next year to ensure they meet safety and technical standards before the 2027/28 season.

In football, the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina (NSBiH) has temporarily lifted the suspension of the Asim Ferhatović Hase Stadium in Sarajevo for the 2026/27 season. This decision follows an inspection by ProPitch, which identified significant damage to the hybrid pitch. While the surface requires replacement, the committee granted conditional approval for FK Sarajevo to use the stadium through the end of the autumn half-season to maintain competition integrity.

Meanwhile, the Football Association of Montenegro (FSCG) issued disciplinary sanctions against several clubs. Budućnost, Sutjeska, Petrovac, and Zeta were fined for various infractions, including the use of pyrotechnics by fans and poor match organization.
