Baskonia negotiating with center Alex Len

Baskonia is in negotiations to sign Ukrainian center Alex Len to strengthen its front line for the upcoming season. The 33-year-old, standing 2.13 meters tall, is currently a free agent following the conclusion of his contract with Real Madrid.

The move comes as the Vitoria-based team seeks to address a critical void in its roster after the departure of Diop to the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers. With Kenneth Faried currently the only pure center on the roster, the club views Len's extensive experience as a high priority.

Len brings significant professional pedigree, having played for several NBA franchises including the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors, Washington Wizards, and Los Angeles Lakers. He spent the latter part of the previous season in Europe with Real Madrid.
