Baskonija signs American guard Damion Bogn to two‑year deal
Serbian basketball club Baskonija announced a two‑year contract with American guard Damion Bogn, with an option to extend for a third season. The 26‑year‑old, a product of the University of Memphis and Texas Christian University, joins the Vitorija‑based team after a varied professional career.
Bogn previously played in the NBA G League, posting averages of 22.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, eight assists and 2.1 steals per game for Val Sanes. He also starred in the Basketball Africa League with Libyan side Al Ahli, recording the league’s first triple‑double (11 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists) and setting a single‑game assist record of 18. In the 2024‑25 season he appeared in 15 NBA games for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging 7.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists. A brief stint in Canada with Kalgari Sardj rounded out his recent experience. Baskonija hopes Bogn’s athleticism and playmaking will boost the squad’s performance.
