Turkish mayors conduct regional visits in Trabzon and İzmir

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç attended a festival in the Mataracı neighborhood of Maçka. During the event, Genç met with residents to listen to their requests and emphasized the importance of national unity and democratic respect regardless of political views. He also addressed global tensions, noting the impact of conflicts in the north and the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

In İzmir, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay conducted a series of visits in the Bergama district. Tugay met with local producers, including participating in a honey harvest in Aşağıcuma, and visited several neighborhoods such as Aşağıbey, Kaplan, Demircidere, and Okçular to discuss local investments and address citizen concerns. Additionally, restorer Şahin Genç held a session in Basmane as part of the 'Heritage Talks' organized by İzmir Miras, sharing professional expertise on cultural heritage conservation with university students.

In Mataracı, local leaders also held meetings regarding regional business developments and community condolences.
