Basque cultural events feature photography exhibition and dance documentary

Several cultural events are taking place in the Basque region. Photographer Javi Alonso is opening an exhibition at the Zelai Arizti cultural center in Zumarraga. The collection features photographs taken at concerts organized by the Zarraparraz collective since 2015. The exhibition, which includes 40 photographs, will be on display until the 30th of the month.

In Lezo, the documentary ‘Lezo, dantzaren sehaska’ (Lezo, the Cradle of Dance) is premiering at the Altamari Park amphitheater. The film honors the town's significant history and success in dance championships. Alongside the documentary screening, an exhibition of trophies and awards won by local dancers will be held at the Kultur Areto.

Additionally, the musical group Diana Jones is scheduled to perform during the photography event in Zumarraga.
