Basque Government approves health center funding and business credit lines
The Basque Government has approved several key investments and financial measures. First, the government formalized the land transfer from the Donostia City Council in Txominenea for the construction of the new Loiola health center. This project, which began in January, involves a 9.4 million euro investment for construction and medical equipment. The 3,307-square-meter facility is expected to be completed by early 2028 and will include medical, pediatric, and physiotherapy consultations, as well as research spaces for the Biogipuzkoa institute.
Additionally, the Basque Government has allocated 100 million euros to launch a new credit line under the Indartuz program. This initiative aims to fund strategic investments for SMEs and self-employed workers, with loans reaching up to 2 million euros for companies and 250,000 euros for individuals. The funds are intended for projects involving productive capacity, internationalization, energy efficiency, and advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics. The credit line features a maximum interest rate of six-month Euribor plus a 0.75% differential, with the government subsidizing the annual guarantee commission.
