Basque Government launches 28 million euro AI and cybersecurity grants

The Basque Government has launched two non-repayable grant programs totaling 28 million euros to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in adopting digital technologies.

One 14-million-euro program focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into industrial processes, products, or management models. The second 14-million-euro program targets industrial cybersecurity, aiming to prevent cyberattacks, protect sensitive information, and strengthen technological environments through measures such as secure design, code review, and encryption.

Eligible companies can receive subsidies covering up to 60% of qualifying expenses, with a maximum grant of 100,000 euros per business.
