Basque traditions celebrated in Kanpantxu and new digital initiative launched in Gipuzkoa

In Kanpantxu, residents gathered to celebrate the 14th Basque Festival, honoring local folklore and traditions despite unstable weather conditions. The event featured traditional dances performed by children, music by the Kittu group from Zornotza, and community activities such as the 'baserriz-baserriko poteo'. Participants maintained a festive atmosphere despite the rain, utilizing shelters to continue the celebration.

Meanwhile, Kutxa Fundazioa has launched a digital interactive game in Gipuzkoa to highlight its impact on cultural, educational, and social development in the region. The game uses a 'spot the difference' mechanic to showcase the foundation's contributions to knowledge, culture, and social cohesion. Participants in the digital activity have the opportunity to enter a draw for a Michelin-starred dining experience.
