Basri İlhan assumes leadership of YENİ Parti in Malatya

Basri İlhan has officially taken over the leadership of the YENİ Parti Malatya provincial branch following the party’s first ordinary congress. He succeeds Barış Yıldız, who handed over the position during a formal ceremony.

During the transition, Yıldız noted that the party has focused on upholding democracy, law, and justice in Malatya, particularly in the challenging period following the February 6 earthquakes. He stated that the party was established to provide hope to citizens facing despair.

Newly appointed chairman Basri İlhan pledged to engage directly with various sectors of society, including youth, retirees, tradespeople, and industrialists. He emphasized a commitment to addressing the city's problems through active field presence and stated the goal of making YENİ Parti a governing force in Malatya.
