Bastien Tronchon wins stage 10 of La Vuelta 2026
Bastien Tronchon of Groupama-FDJ United secured a surprise victory in stage 10 of La Vuelta 2026, winning a sprint finish in Elche de la Sierra. The 184.7-kilometer stage, which traversed the Alcaraz and Segura mountains in Albacete, featured undulating terrain and three categorized climbs. Tronchon overcame Magnus Cort Nielsen and Thibau Nys in the final meters to claim his first Grand Tour stage win.
In the general classification, Enric Mas of Movistar Team maintained his lead in the red jersey. Mas holds a 1:18 margin over Primoz Roglic, with Felix Gall in third place. The race dynamics have shifted following the withdrawal of Tadej Pogacar due to a broken collarbone.
