Batı Cephesi Kadınları Derneği celebrates two years in Akşehir

The Batı Cephesi Kadınları Derneği (Western Front Women's Association) has marked its second anniversary in Akşehir. Founded by President Meltem Orhan and 11 female entrepreneurs, the association focuses on transforming women's manual labor into economic value.

Through collaborations such as natural soap production courses with the Akşehir Public Education Center, the association supports women's participation in production processes. Their handmade products have been showcased at major events like the International Akşehir Nasreddin Hodja Festivals. Additionally, the group engages in social solidarity by organizing aid campaigns for families in need and hosting cultural trips to strengthen community bonds.
