BAT Japan expands Luckies cigarette sales to Lawson stores

British American Tobacco (BAT) Japan has announced that its Luckies cigarette series has surpassed 6 million boxes in cumulative shipments within approximately four months of its April 6 release.

To expand availability, BAT Japan will begin selling Luckies products at Lawson convenience stores nationwide starting August 31, 2026. This expansion ensures the brand is available across all major convenience store chains in Japan. The product line, which includes Luckies 10-Box and Luckies 6-Box, maintains a retail price of 450 yen (including tax), positioned as one of the lowest-priced paper cigarette options in the domestic market.

The Luckies series is designed to inherit the heritage of the Lucky Strike brand while offering a modern design and a direct tobacco flavor profile through proprietary blending technology.
