Bataclan: The Survivors miniseries premieres on TVCine

The French drama miniseries ‘Bataclan: Os Que Viveram’ (Bataclan: The Survivors) is set to premiere on TVCine Edition on October 12. Directed by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, the eight-episode series depicts the experiences of seven hostages during the November 13, 2015, terrorist attacks at the Bataclan concert hall in Paris.

The production follows the lives of Marie, Arnaud, Caroline, Sébastien, Grégory, Stéphane, and David, who formed a unique bond while facing terrorists in a narrow corridor for over two hours. Developed in close collaboration with the actual survivors, known as ‘Les Potages’, the series returns to the real locations to recount their struggle to rebuild their lives following the trauma.

While critically acclaimed in France, the series previously faced controversy regarding approximately eight minutes of footage captured inside the Bataclan, which some viewers found shocking.
