The Riau Islands Regional Police (Polda Kepri) detained 114 individuals during an intensified routine activity (KRYD) targeting drug-prone areas in Kampung Madani, Batam, on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

The operation, which included 95 men and 19 women, was conducted as part of the Narcotics Prevention, Eradication, Misuse, and Illicit Trafficking Program (P4GN). Authorities conducted sweeps and inspections across several points in the area to curb illegal drug circulation. All detained individuals were taken to the Polda Kepri headquarters for urine testing and further investigation to determine legal proceedings.
