Batea Mahuida extends snow season through September

The Batea Mahuida snow park has announced an extension of its winter season until at least the end of September, driven by exceptional snow conditions. The mountain currently reports over one meter of compacted snow at the base and nearly two meters at the summit.

This extension supports tourism in the nearby localities of Villa Pehuenia and Moquehue. The park continues to offer skiing, snowboarding, and sledding activities, including equipment rentals and ski school services.

Pricing for tourists is set at 50,000 pesos for a full day and 42,000 pesos for a half day. Residents of Villa Pehuenia-Moquehue, Lonco Luan, Aluminé, and Zapala receive discounted rates, with full-day passes priced at 46,000 pesos and half-day passes at 25,000 pesos.
