Batealit Village launches integrated jeep adventure tourism package

Batealit Village in Jepara has officially launched ‘Jelajah Batealit’, an integrated tourism package designed to boost the local economy. The program, developed by the UNISNU Jepara KKN team, utilizes a jeep adventure concept to connect eight different destinations.

The tourism package integrates various local sectors, including natural attractions, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), arts and culture, agriculture, and livestock. To support the initiative, Geographic Information System (GIS) technology was provided to the village government to assist in mapping tourism potential and providing information to visitors.

Local officials and community members expressed optimism that the initiative will increase visibility for local products and improve community income. The launch event took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Batealit Village multipurpose building.
