Bath and North East Somerset and Warwickshire Councils Implement Temporary Road Closures

Bath and North East Somerset Council will temporarily close sections of the A4 Upper Bristol Road and Midland Road in Bath for highway resurfacing and junction improvements. The closures, parking suspensions and a temporary lift of a one‑way restriction are scheduled to start on 20 August 2026 and may last up to 18 months, with work limited to three nights between 20:00 and 06:00. Alternative routes are provided for motorists.

Warwickshire County Council has issued a 30 mph speed‑limit order for several roads in Honington, Stratford‑upon‑Avon, effective 10 August 2026. The order, made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, is accompanied by public notices, technical plans and a contact point for enquiries.
