Bath City FC board and supporters approve sale to investor group
The Board of Bath City Football Club and the Bath City Supporters’ Society have unanimously recommended the sale of the club to an investor group led by entrepreneur Andrew Stalbow.
The proposed agreement involves a seed round of approximately £6 million to be invested into the Twerton-based club. The investment aims to develop Football League-ready infrastructure and strengthen community and fan connections. The investor group includes individuals with backgrounds in finance, technology, healthcare, and sport.
Notable participants in the group include Curt Smith, co-founder of Tears for Fears, who is set to serve as a club ambassador. The new leadership structure will feature Stalbow as Chair, Richard Rivlin as Vice Chairman, Abdallah Yafi as President, and Ivan Hindshaw as Director. All proposed directors have passed the FA’s Owners and Directors Test.
