Bath House Cultural Center celebrates 40 years of Día de Muertos

The Bath House Cultural Center is hosting its 40th annual Día de Muertos celebration with an exhibition titled ‘Día de Muertos: They’re Having a Party!’.

Curator Enrique Fernández Cervantes explained that the exhibition focuses on the spiritual presence of deceased loved ones, aiming to depict spirits participating in festivities rather than celebrating death itself. The event features various artistic expressions, including cartonería (papier mâché) work by Mexican artist Maggie Wolters, to honor the memories of those who have passed.
