Interior design trends focus on minimalist bathrooms and dramatic wall drapery

Current interior design trends focus on functionality and aesthetic atmosphere. In bathroom design, there is a growing preference for walk-in showers that utilize single glass walls to create a sense of openness and minimalism. When selecting shower trays, options include square, rectangular, or corner shapes, with materials like sanitary acrylic or mineral casts offering different benefits regarding heat retention and durability. Proper installation of showerheads is also critical, with recommended heights typically being 20–30 cm above the tallest user.

For living spaces, the ‘drapery wall’ trend involves covering entire walls from ceiling to floor with fabrics like velvet, silk, or linen to create a theatrical, luxurious effect. Additionally, using thick-pile rugs in warm autumnal colors such as beige, caramel, or rust can effectively insulate floors and define relaxation zones within a room.
