Bathroom design trends shift toward color and texture
Interior design trends for bathrooms are shifting away from traditional all-white aesthetics toward spaces characterized by more color, texture, and personality. Experts anticipate that by 2027, the use of expressive materials and varied color palettes will become more prominent.
Green tones are a significant trend, ranging from soft, desaturated shades like sage and eucalyptus—which promote tranquility and a natural atmosphere—to deeper hues like olive or forest green that provide depth. Other emerging colors include blues, dusty pinks, and creams.
Texture is also playing a central role, with a move toward artisanal tiles such as Zellige. These tiles are characterized by irregular surfaces, slight variations in level, and enamel shifts that react to light, offering a warmer and more lived-in feel compared to perfectly uniform, mass-produced surfaces.
