BATIC 2026 in Bali focuses on AI and digital infrastructure
The 11th Bali Annual Telkom International Conference (BATIC) 2026 is being held from August 24–28 in Nusa Dua, Bali. Hosted by Telin, the international business arm of Telkom Indonesia, the event brings together over 2,700 delegates from 760 companies across 67 countries to discuss the future of digital transformation in the Asia-Pacific region.
A central focus of this year’s conference is the rapid adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), global connectivity, cloud services, and digital infrastructure. To address the needs of the enterprise sector, the conference introduced ignitePRO, an executive forum themed ‘The Enabled Enterprise’. This session explores how businesses can move from AI experimentation to large-scale, responsible implementation by ensuring readiness in data, infrastructure, security, and human resources.
In conjunction with the conference, Telkom Group is advancing its strategic infrastructure goals to support the AI boom. These include developing AI-ready data centers through NeutraDC, optimizing domestic fiber optic networks, and strengthening international connectivity via subsea cables through Telin. Additionally, Telkom is progressing with its business transformation, including the planned full operation of its infrastructure subsidiary, InfraNexia, by October 1, 2026, following the spin-off of its wholesale fiber connectivity assets.
