Batman launches first phase of Blue Green Batman project

The first phase of the Blue Green Batman project has officially opened along the banks of the Batman River. Led by Batman Governor and Deputy Mayor Ekrem Canalp, the initiative aims to transform 2,550 decares of land into a major urban park and social living space to enhance the city's quality of life and economy.

The completed first phase includes a 12-kilometer continuous walking route for citizens. Plans for subsequent stages are already underway: the second phase will cover 660 decares with an estimated investment of 790 million TL, while the third phase will encompass 720 decares, with a promotional event scheduled for November 4.

Additionally, the project intends to integrate the opposite bank of the Batman River by converting existing BİMS facilities into part of the project. To facilitate the relocation of these facilities to the Organized Industrial Zone, Governor Canalp has instructed a reduction in square meter prices within the Raman Organized Industrial Zone to prioritize public health.
