Batman official calls for stricter alcohol sales inspections

Cihad Altun, the Batman Central District President of HÜDA PAR, has called for increased inspections of businesses selling alcoholic beverages in Batman. Altun stated that there have been observations of sales occurring in violation of existing regulations.

He emphasized that retail alcohol sales are prohibited between 22:00 and 06:00 and that sales points must adhere to mandatory distance requirements from educational institutions, places of worship, and highways. Altun argued that stricter enforcement is necessary to combat domestic violence, traffic accidents, and other legal issues linked to alcohol consumption. Additionally, he urged authorities to increase traffic controls on peripheral roads to prevent driving under the influence.
