Batman officials and ministers discuss regional development and stray animal management

A delegation from the Batman Working Journalists Association, led by President Hatice Türkan, met with MHP Batman Provincial Chairman M. Arif Çetin to discuss the city's economic and social future. The meeting focused on potential investments and the new political process initiated by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, which Çetin believes will bring new opportunities to Batman.

Separately, Minister Mustafa Çiftçi provided updates on the national campaign to manage stray dogs. Following a visit to Batman, Çiftçi stated that the initiative has reached a 99.9% completion rate across Turkey, with work currently ongoing in Diyarbakır. He noted that the figures are based on initial estimates from governorships and emphasized that the process remains dynamic due to changing animal populations.
