Police in Batman have arrested two suspects following an investigation into an armed attack and an alleged 15 million TL extortion attempt against a local business. The incident occurred on October 2, 2026, when two masked individuals on a motorcycle attacked a workplace in the GAP neighborhood.
To identify the perpetrators, the Batman Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch reviewed over 610 hours of footage from approximately 400 different security cameras. This technical and physical surveillance led to the identification of six suspects.
