Battalgazi Mayor Taşkın discusses infrastructure repairs in Nuriye

Battalgazi Mayor Bayram Taşkın met with residents of the Nuriye neighborhood as part of his weekly “Citizens Ask, the Mayor Answers” program. During the meeting, residents directly communicated their needs and concerns regarding the local area.

Addressing the damage to roads and sidewalks caused by ongoing construction and post-earthquake debris removal, Taşkın stated that the municipality is coordinating with infrastructure agencies to ensure repairs are permanent. He explained that paving would be delayed in areas where infrastructure work is still active to avoid immediate damage. The Mayor noted that the municipality has prepared resources, including an active gravel quarry and interlocking stone factory, to overhaul the streets as infrastructure projects conclude.
