Battle Ground shooting: One arrested, one suspect at large

Police have arrested 44-year-old Theodore Seaman following a reported drive-by shooting in a Battle Ground neighborhood on Saturday afternoon. The incident reportedly began as a road rage encounter near Northeast Heisson Road and 17th Avenue, where witnesses described seeing a silver Nissan sedan firing multiple rounds at a neighbor's house.

Law enforcement agencies, including the Battle Ground Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Vancouver Police Department, and Washington State Patrol, responded to the scene. A deputy located the suspect vehicle as it entered Battle Ground Lake State Park. While officers detained Seaman, the passenger fled the vehicle on foot.

Despite an extensive search involving K9 teams and drones, the second suspect remains at large. No injuries have been reported, and Battle Ground Lake State Park has since reopened following the initial evacuation and police response.
