Battlefield 6 and Call of Duty announce major seasonal updates
Battlefield 6 is set to launch its fifth season on October 13, introducing a new combat setting in Las Vegas. The update will feature three new maps, with two available at launch, blending tight infantry combat with large-scale vehicle and aerial warfare. Battlefield Studios is also implementing balance changes to combat, specifically adjusting vehicle health regeneration, directional damage, and weaknesses to allow infantry players more strategic ways to engage armored targets. Additionally, the REDSEC mode will receive a faster-paced experience.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone are entering Season 6, marking the final stage for Black Ops 7. This season features a Halloween-themed aesthetic titled ‘The Haunting’ and includes the final BlackCell Battle Pass. Content updates include new weapons, operators, and skins, alongside a collaboration with DOOM. The season aims to maintain player engagement through high-volume rewards and visual variants as the franchise prepares for the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 4.
