Electronic Arts announces major updates for Battlefield 6 and EA SPORTS FC 27

Electronic Arts has announced major content updates for two of its major titles, Battlefield 6 and EA SPORTS FC 27.

Battlefield 6 is launching Season 5, titled ‘Siege of Vegas’, which introduces two new maps: the Vegas Strip and Area 51. The update includes four new weapons (Mk 24, Z84M, RSPR, and ELR-40) and a new fast-paced Battle Royale variant called ‘Rapid Royale’ within the REDSEC mode. Additionally, a crossover event with Dead Space, ‘Convergence’, will run from October 20 to November 7, featuring a 16-player PvE mode.

EA SPORTS FC 27 is introducing several seasonal events. The ‘Future Stars’ promotion is returning early, featuring rising talents such as Rio Ngumoha, Gilberto Mora, and Vicky López. The game also features the ‘Ultimate Scream’ Halloween event starting October 23, which provides permanent stat boosts to specific player cards. Furthermore, new kit editing tools have been released via FIFA Kit Creator and FIFA Editor Tool, allowing for advanced community customization of team uniforms.
