Battlefield 6 Patch 1.4.1.5 Fixes RTX 50 GPU Crashes

Electronic Arts released update 1.4.1.5 for Battlefield 6 on 4 August 2026. The patch resolves driver‑crash problems that affected players using Nvidia GeForce RTX 50‑series graphics cards. Crashes were most common on maps with large bodies of water, such as the newly added Tsuru Reef, and when changing attachments on the SOR‑300SC weapon or using the Custom Search feature. The issue had been linked to Nvidia driver version 610.74, prompting EA to advise a temporary rollback to driver 596.49.

The update also brings a range of quality‑of‑life improvements: faster load screens, refined aiming, fixes to deployment, challenges, vehicle handling, UI and audio, and bug fixes across multiple maps and the Portal mode. EA confirmed, “We’re investigating an issue on PC where some players may experience a GPU driver crash when playing on maps with large bodies of water, including Tsuru Reef.”

Looking ahead, Battlefield Studios announced the return of the classic Wake Island map on 1 August and previewed new content such as the Top Gun: Carrier Strike mode and additional weapons for upcoming seasons.
