Battlefield 6 receives version 1.4.2.5 update

Battlefield 6 has received update version 1.4.2.5, which focuses on gameplay improvements, stability, and bug fixes rather than new content. The patch addresses several technical issues identified following the previous 1.4.2.0 update.

Key combat adjustments include fixes for vehicle laser designation during Carrier Strike and ensuring helicopter miniguns can damage soldiers in water. Gadget functionality has also been refined, such as adjusting the EOD Bot arm to act as a light melee weapon and ensuring grenade warning indicators remain visible on the screen edge when grenades are out of view.

Additionally, the update improves the reliability of Portal Custom Lobbies, specifically fixing issues with the ‘Start’ button responsiveness during countdowns. Other fixes include Support class pinging for downed teammates, AI behavior, and general UI/HUD stability.
