Electronic Arts announces Battlefield 6 Season 5 content roadmap

Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have unveiled the roadmap for Season 5 of Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC, titled ‘Siege of Vegas’. The update will roll out in three distinct phases starting October 13, 2026.

Phase 1 introduces the Vegas Strip and Area 51 maps, alongside the ‘Rapid Royale’ mode for REDSEC, which offers faster-paced Battle Royale matches. A limited-time ‘Dead Space’ crossover event is scheduled from October 20 to November 7, featuring horror-themed cosmetics and environments inspired by the 2023 remake.

Phase 2, ‘Casino Heist’, launches on November 10 and includes a new European Casino map designed for close-quarters combat, as well as the start of the REDSEC Elite Series. The season concludes with Phase 3, ‘Frozen Aces’, on December 8, which will introduce new freezing conditions in Las Vegas and a new Operation.

Addressing long-standing community requests, the update will also implement Platoons and a Server Browser. While the season begins in October, the Server Browser functionality is expected to arrive with the ‘Frozen Aces’ update on December 8.
