Batuhan Çam and Yimin Sun celebrate cross-cultural wedding in Ünye

Batuhan Çam, a 30-year-old computer engineer, and Yimin Sun, a 26-year-old from China, held a wedding ceremony in Ünye, Ordu, to celebrate their union. The couple, who met through mutual friends while living in Ireland, had previously completed their official marriage registration there.

During the celebration, the couple and their families highlighted the successful blending of Chinese and Black Sea cultures. Yimin Sun expressed her appreciation for the hospitality in Ünye, noting that she felt minimal cultural differences between them. The bride has also shown a strong interest in local Turkish cuisine, specifically enjoying regional dishes such as kale and pickled kaldirik.

Family members expressed their support for the marriage, noting how quickly Sun integrated into the family and embraced local traditions.
