BAU 2027 introduces industry ambassadors to drive sector dialogue

The BAU 2027 trade fair, scheduled to take place in Munich from January 11 to 15, 2027, is introducing a new communication strategy featuring industry experts known as ‘BAU Insiders’. These brand ambassadors will use their professional networks and personal perspectives to highlight key themes of the construction sector.

The ambassadors represent various specialized fields, including planning, craftsmanship, industry, digitalization, and building transformation. Key figures include Sarah Dungs of the Greyfield Group, focusing on the transformation of existing buildings; Christoph Krause, addressing digitalization and AI; and Dr. Lena-Marie Pätzmann, CEO of Sitegeist Robotics, who will focus on construction robotics.

Project Manager Cornelia Lutz stated that the initiative aims to make central themes more tangible and foster dialogue within the industry ahead of the event. The program will address critical future questions such as increasing productivity through industrial processes, resource efficiency, and the role of small and medium-sized enterprises in climate protection.
