Bau 2027 Trade Fair Adds Brand Ambassadors to Boost Industry Dialogue
The Bau 2027 world‑leading construction fair, scheduled for 11‑15 January 2027 in Munich, is expanding its communication strategy by appointing a group of "Bau Insider" brand ambassadors. These ambassadors – drawn from planning, handcraft, industry, digitalisation, building‑stock transformation, serial renovation and construction robotics – will use their own networks to highlight the fair’s key themes and provide practical insights.
The initiative aims to make topics such as digitalisation, sustainability, resource efficiency and the reuse of existing building stock more tangible for the sector. Sarah Dungs, CEO of Greyfield Group and chair of the Association for Building Stock, stresses that “the future of construction lies not only in new builds but in how we handle what already exists, turning stock into a climate‑protection opportunity.” Cornelia Lutz, project manager for Bau, adds that “Bau thrives on direct exchange between industry actors, and the Bau Insiders will make central topics more concrete.” Other ambassadors include Christoph Krause, Dr Lena‑Marie Pätzmann, Gerda Söhngen, Cehan San, Julian Waning, Romina Haller, Emanuel Heisenberg and Bernhard Wolter.
