Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed Orders Intensified Crackdown on Terrorists and Bandits

Governor Bala Mohammed praised security agencies for a successful intelligence‑led operation in Alkaleri Local Government Area that displaced terrorists from Mansur village, dismantled their camps and neutralised several high‑profile criminal elements, allowing thousands of displaced residents to return home. He thanked President Bola Tinubu, the National Security Adviser and service chiefs for their support.

He directed security forces to sustain joint operations across Bauchi, intensify patrols, clear forest hideouts and strengthen surveillance in border communities. The governor warned traditional rulers against harbouring criminals, pledged additional logistics, technology and police stations, and urged agencies to remain professional during upcoming political activities.
