Bauchi NDC supporters defect to APM citing governor's achievements

A significant number of supporters from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in Bauchi State have defected to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM). The group, led by Muntaqa Ahmad Zubairu, cited the developmental achievements of Governor Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed as the primary motivation for their political realignment.

Representatives of the defectors, including APM State Secretary Alhassan Danlami Bako, stated that the move was intended to support the governor’s administration and ensure the continuity of ongoing infrastructure and governance projects. Governor Mohammed welcomed the new members, expressing appreciation for their confidence in his leadership and pledging a commitment to inclusive governance.
