Bauchi police arrest five suspects with human eyes

The Nigeria Police Force Intelligence Unit at the Zone 12 Headquarters in Bauchi State has arrested five suspects for suspected ritual activities. The arrests occurred on August 26, 2026.

During the operation, authorities recovered two human eyes, red and white cloth, and other materials believed to be used for money rituals. The suspects have been identified as Abdullahi Idris, Sani Haruna, Auwal Umar, Abubakar Yusuf, and Sharu Sale. They are currently in custody for interrogation as investigations continue to identify accomplices and the source of the recovered organs.
