Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed receives praise for governance
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has received praise from local traditional leadership and has expressed support for federal government initiatives. The Emir of Lame, Alh. Aliyu Yakubu Lame, commended the Governor for his seven years of governance, describing his tenure as being marked by “wisdom, peace, and progress” and noting that the state has become one of the most peaceful in Nigeria.
Separately, Governor Mohammed acknowledged the performance of President Bola Tinubu, specifically highlighting positive impacts in the health and finance sectors. During a visit from federal ministers, the Governor noted that state governments are receiving increased financial resources under the current administration. He emphasized that his administration evaluates national policies objectively, stating, “We don’t always oppose and criticise for the sake of criticising. When we see good things, we say it.”
