Bauen Pilay Housing Protest in Rosario Over Delayed Home Deliveries

Victims of the Bauen Pilay housing program gathered in front of the company's offices in Rosario, demanding answers after decades of delayed home deliveries, relocated units and alleged unfulfilled allocations. The municipal council of Rosario unanimously approved a resolution that calls for two actions: a public registry for affected families to be launched on 10 August, and a formal request for information from Bauen Pilay, with a deadline of 1 August.

The protesters, represented by Alicia Bernal, said the company has not responded to the request and highlighted the long‑standing hardship of families who have been paying installments for twenty years without receiving their homes. They urged officials to enforce the council's measures and provide a clear report from the developer.
