BAUER Maschinen begins factory expansion in Aresing
BAUER Maschinen GmbH has officially broken ground on a major expansion of its facility in Aresing, Germany. The project includes the construction of a 22,000 square meter production and logistics hall designed to house material management, electronics assembly, quality assurance, and shipping operations. Additionally, the expansion will feature a new customer and training center and comprehensive infrastructure modernization.
DIBAG is responsible for the site and project development, including urban design, rainwater management, and nature conservation measures. Goldbeck has been appointed as the general contractor for the construction.
The expansion follows a period of organizational change for the group, which recently transitioned from a stock corporation (AG) to a partnership limited by shares (KGaA). This legal change increases the influence of the Doblinger family, the company's primary shareholders. Management noted that the new facility is a strategic response to global market challenges and long-standing investment needs.
