Bauska Municipality police report violations during Halloween

During Halloween celebrations in Bauska Municipality, local police conducted raids to monitor public order and child safety. The operations resulted in several administrative violations.

Authorities identified a four-year-old child wandering the streets without adult supervision. Additionally, police initiated administrative processes regarding minors found under the influence of alcohol and a minor who was on the street after 10:00 PM in violation of age restrictions.

In another instance, an administrative process was launched against a parent who was reportedly too intoxicated to care for their young daughter. This case also involves an investigation into the potential illegal use of narcotic or psychotropic substances. Police also issued verbal warnings to children regarding bicycle safety and helmet use, and received reports of residential homes being pelted with eggs during the festivities.
