Bautista Bernasconi extends contract with Benetton Rugby

Benetton Rugby has announced a contract extension for Argentine hooker Bautista Bernasconi. The agreement runs until June 30, 2029, with an option for an additional season.

Bernasconi joined the Treviso-based club in January 2023. Since his arrival, the 23-year-old has made 61 appearances and scored 14 tries. The club highlighted his reliability in both static and dynamic play, noting his strength in scrums, lineouts, and mauls.

An international player, Bernasconi has represented Argentina at various youth levels, including the Under 18 and Under 20 sides, and has earned caps for the Argentina XV. He has also been involved with the senior Pumas setup.
