Bavarian attractions Kulmbach Mönchshof and Burg tourist office launch summer programs and longer hours

The Kulmbacher Mönchshof in Bavaria will remain open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 throughout the 2026 summer holidays, offering a series of family‑friendly activities. Highlights include a beer‑history tour on 31 July (13 €, 16 € for children), a historic‑train and old‑timer ride on 31 August (10 €/5 € for children), a baking workshop on 31 August (16 €), a spice‑rally for children on 5 September (12 €), and a water‑themed workshop on 8 September (10 €).

The Tourist‑Information office in Burg has adjusted its summer opening hours for May‑September: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 09:00‑12:00 and 13:00‑17:00, Friday 09:00‑14:00, Saturday 09:00‑13:00, with Wednesday closed. Winter hours (October‑April) revert to earlier closing times. The centre provides advice on accommodations, guided tours, ticket sales, bike rentals and other visitor services.
