Bavarian Bio Experience Days 2026 to feature 170 organic‑farm events across the state

From 28 August to 11 October 2026, Bavaria will host its 26th Bio‑Erlebnistage, a series of roughly 170 public events on organic farms, kitchens and stables. The programme includes farm tours, harvest‑basket workshops, wine‑harvest visits, cooking classes, tastings and harvest‑festival celebrations, inviting visitors of all ages to experience organic agriculture firsthand.

The opening ceremony on 1 September will be held at the Chiemgaukorn bio‑farm and will be attended by Bavarian State Minister for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism Michaela Kaniber, who said, “Die Bio‑Erlebnistage sind wichtig und liegen mir sehr am Herzen.” LVÖ chairman Thomas Lang added that the days “invite people to get to know the people behind bio and to protect our natural foundations for a sustainable future.”
