Bavarian Community Child Support Programs Expand

The Kinderschutzbund Rosenheim is launching a new volunteer programme in the Wasserburg area, seeking family mentors to provide a few hours of weekly support for parents facing separation, relocation, illness or limited social networks. Volunteers receive free training on communication, boundaries and intercultural competence, and are supervised throughout their involvement.

In Krailling, the local Kinderhaus marked its fifth anniversary. The celebration was attended by municipal officials, representatives of the Johanniter Oberbayern organization and the town mayor, highlighting the centre’s role in early childhood care and community outreach.
